The Food Action Network of Northwestern Ontario (FAN-NWO), formerly the Thunder Bay + Area Food Strategy, is hiring a Community Food Systems Coordinator to help strengthen community-led food systems across the region. This strategic, high-impact position is central to our organization’s growth and food sovereignty work.
This is a 30-hour/week, 7-month maternity leave contract with possibility of renewal, starting late August, 2025. The position offers $30/hour plus benefits, and is based in the Thunder Bay area with some regional travel required.
The Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director to support FAN-NWO’s work on food justice, access, and equity. They’ll also contribute to long-term organizational planning, governance, fundraising, and coordinating events and campaigns.
